Which stores accept the Virtual Visa?

You can spend your card in any store that accepts Visa, however some types of retailers are blocked for security and anti-money laundering reasons.


Exclusions include:

  • Casinos
  • Money transfer (Merchant [EP])
  • Pawn Shops
  • Financial Institutions - Manual Cash Disbursements
  • Financial Institutions - Merchandise and Services
  • Quasi Cash - Member Financial Institution
  • Quasi Cash - (Merchant [EP])
  • Securities - Brokers and Dealers
  • Value Purchase - Member Financial Institution
  • Savings Bonds
  • Gambling Transactions
  • Automated Fuel Dispensers
  • Gambling and adult entertainment
  • To purchase illegal goods or services
  • For illegal, criminal or terrorist activity
  • ATM withdrawals

You can only spend up to the available balance on the card but you do not have to spend all the balance on your card in the same store or in the same transaction.
